who tf is jalaxi? and why is she making jewellery?
when jalaxi was young, her mum thought something was wrong with her. because she’d see her daughter not looking up from a book, for days and days, not for breakfast, not for lunch, not even for dinner.
books hallucinated her.
and years later, as it was meant to be, jalaxi started writing. writing about anything and everything, anywhere and everywhere. she was writing so much, it could distract people. there was one professor in her college, who never started his class before snatching her diary away. she hates him till date.
she wanted to learn film writing after college, but COVID happened and the economy forced her to enter advertising. and if you don’t know, i must tell you, if you’re in advertising, you can do nothing else. it takes away all your time.
but can you ever make a a sunset-obsessed girl write ads for boring flats until 10pm? so, a year and a half later, she quit. i’m telling you based on true events. when her boss offered her 50% hike and she still refused, he was bound to ask her, “why?”, and she said
so she quit her corporate job, became a freelance copywriter and watched a ton of sunsets. she continued that for 3 years while also continuing to write on social media, which gathered her a community of over 10000 followers.
but she wasn’t satisfied. ever since she was 17, she had this itch that her words are meant for more. not just social media and radio jingles.
so this one time she was in the mountains and she took a jewellery class, just for fun. and as you know,
so jalaxi had gone as a writer but she came back as a writer + jeweller.
